Loan Repayment Assistance Program

Delaware Law is committed to training students for public interest service. Under the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP), our graduates are afforded the opportunity of pursuing public interest career goals without excessive pressure of loan repayments.

Graduates must apply to LRAP within three years of graduation and be employed by a non-profit organization that provides a legal service that benefits the community, underrepresented groups, or indigent persons.

Upon acceptance into the program, monthly payments are provided for the graduate’s law school loan debt; payments can last up to 36 months on loans certified by an ABA-accredited law school financial aid office. These benefits are granted to the graduate in the form of reimbursement for the previous month's loan payment.

Graduates with an annual salary of up to $50,000 are eligible to apply for LRAP benefits. Preference is given to graduates working in non-governmental positions.
