Delaware Law participates with educational benefit programs offered through the Department of Veteran's Affairs. Montgomery GI Bill and Post 9-11 Bill benefit programs are available to qualified veterans for attendance at Delaware Law. The school has also committed to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, offering matching tuition assistance for up to ten J.D. students on each School of Law campus.

The Veteran's Law Clinic at Widener University Delaware School of Law offers free legal aid to veterans living at 150% of poverty level who have been denied benefits by their Regional Office and wish to take an appeal to the BVA. Providing case evaluation and representation, the staff assists veterans who otherwise would not have a lawyer at a critical time in their lives.
