Graduate Programs

Newly minted lawyers and practicing attorneys who seek greater challenges have never before encountered a more competitive job market. More than 1.2 million lawyers already practice in the United States, and aspiring attorneys need to stand out in a crowd of job candidates. An advanced law degree can strengthen your expertise and make your résumé distinctly attractive.

Delaware Law offers advanced degree programs that will give you the specialized training and qualifications you need to take your talents to the next level. The programs are open to graduates of United States juris doctor programs and international students who have completed a degree in law from an academically qualified non-U.S. law school. The programs attract students from across the United States and around the world, including Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, and Canada. This international diversity brings a tremendous range of knowledge and understanding that will greatly enrich your educational experience.

  • Offered through the Institute of Delaware Corporate and Business Law, the master of laws (LLM) in corporate law and finance prepares students for a successful future in the global marketplace.
  • The general master of laws (LLM) program is designed for attorneys from the U.S. and abroad who seek in-depth training in their current specialized area of practice—or those who want to develop a new area of legal expertise.
